As boring as Ethics class is, it got me thinking about certain moral issues.
Can a robot really replace a loved one?

You can make it life-like, you can give it all the traits, you can make it look like him/her, but can it fill the empty void?

In my mind, no. Not even science can replace a friend or family member.

I can imagine Ramon getting nasty criticism for his robot duplicate of his wife, like how could he even try to replace her, or it's not respecting her memory, or what would she say if she were alive then? But in Ramon's defense, it was time of weakness after she died.
